I have admired Tantus from afar for some time but something has held me back. I like some texture on a toy but I find the lumps and bumps on the Charmer and Tsunami a little intimidating. However as goldilocks would say, the Tantus Curve was just right.

First Impressions

When the parcel arrived from Boudoir Boutique I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Tantus.  The great thing about the Tantus Curve (& most other Tantus products) is that it is not aimed at any gender specifically and this is reflected in the packaging. The packaging is right up my alley. It is white, bright and super modern. The view of the Curve through the front of the box does all the talking.

The Curve stands out against all my other dildos, the matte finish with a slight pearlescent sheen makes it truly unique. The matte effect to the Curve gives it a very soft finish like crushed velvet. The Midnight Purple colouring is perfect, giving it a dark and mysterious edge rather than bright and in your face!

Curves in all the right places

The Tantus Curve lives up to its name. The firmness of the silicone means that the dildo holds it shape regardless of how it is used. The Curve is harness compatible so the curve of the shaft leaves it pointing to the heavens. It promises a lot of exciting stimulation.

The shaft is not perfectly round. The underneath has 2 ridges running vertically up the shaft and the other side has 4 horizontal ridges. The ridges are pronounced enough that the will add plenty of sensation but not the rough and angular sort that I find a little aggressive. The final element of texture comes from the round head & tapered tip.

To be honest it reminds me of a 80s computer joystick and hopefully it’ll turn out to be a joystick of a different sort!

Playtime

First of all, with this premium quality silicone you want to be using a water based lubricant. Using anything else will ruin this beautiful toy. The Curve is modest in size with an insertable length of approx. 6.5 inches and a circumference of 4.5 however what it lacks in girth it makes up for with its curves.

It doesn’t have a suction cup base so unless you are using it with a partner or with a harness, you will have to make sure you have a spare hand if you are planning on going solo!

I had a lot of fun with the Tantus Curve. Its tapered tip and super smooth silicone make accepting it inside me a doddle and there is no drag from the material. I love the ridges on the top side of the shaft, when thrusting I can feel every one and you get a different sensation whether you go slow and steady or fast and hard.

The curve is the perfect angle for me as I could soon feel it hitting my g-spot and stroking an orgasm from me. As I mentioned, it isn’t the thickest of dildos however there is plenty for my muscles to clench around.

The Curve is anal safe too so obviously I had to give that are try! The ridges to the shaft & head which felt quite subtle when used vaginally, felt so much more extreme when used anally. The sensations I get from all that delightful texture are incredible and I found myself thrusting more and more vigorously to take everything that it could give.

Clean up

The Tantus is ideal for you clean freaks out there as it can be cleaned up with some sex toy cleaner but it is also bleachable & boilable allowing you to clean off even the most stubborn of little nasties!

Conclusion

The Tantus Curve is an incredible dildo. The quality is excellent which exceeds what I would expect for the price tag. If you enjoy texture to your dildo & a curve that will hit your g-spot or p-spot the I would definitely recommend this.
